Mrs. Lena Bell Burgess, age 86, a resident of the Dublin Community, passed away 10:05 A.M. Tuesday, January 08, 2019 at Baptist Health in Paducah. She was a retired seamstress from H.I.S. and a member of Dublin Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons; Dickie (Pam) Burgess, Dublin, Roger (Joan) Burgess, Greer, S.C., one daughter; Karen Joy (Robert) Tharp, Louisville, one sister; Armatha Woods, Dublin, three brothers; Ronnie Rohrer, Dublin, Kenneth Rohrer, Westville, IN., David Rohrer, Wingo, Nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Emerson and Ila Stephens Rohrer, Husband; Rev. H. Boyd Burgess, one brother; W.L.”Dub” Rohrer, two sisters; Linda Mae Rohrer, Hilda Rhodes and two infant brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Rev. Kenny Jewell officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be; Levi Fowler, Kris Tharp, Joshua Burgess, Jay Cunningham, Ryan Leonard and Quinton Blan. Interment will follow in the Dublin Baptist Church Cemetery.
