She attended the Durant Attendance Center in Durant, MS.
She accepted Christ and united with Damascus M. B. Church. There she served as secretary and was a faithful member until God called her home.
Ora met and married Mr. George E. Johnson in 2005. She loved her family and all people. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 20 years, and she worked at Calsonic Kansei for 4 years as a Production Technician.
She departed this life on Friday, May 4, 2018, in her home that morning.
Ora was preceded in death by her mother, Lille Mae Seamster; one sister, Ester F. Snow; one brother, Mose E. Seamster; and one sister-in-law, Carey L. Seamster.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories a loving husband, George E. Johnson; a devoted father, Jimmie Lee Seamster; three children, Ora (Joey) Corbitt of Durant, MS; Donnell Seamster of Gulfport, MS; and Alexandria Seamster of Durant, MS; one sister, Thelma Seamster of Durant, MS; two brothers, Clyde Seamster of West, MS; and James (Patricia) Seamster of Durant, MS. She also leaves a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws and two special friends, Mrs. Charlie Mae Campbell and Geraldine Coleman.
