I saw this in the commercial appeal today and I can't remember ever having seen anything like this before and it really struck me as sad. This man who was an Army veteran died in September and no one ever claimed the body. He was a veteran who will be buried in the West Tennessee veterans cemetery on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. with military honors but nobody will be there to send him off... if there's a retired military person who sees this, or someone else who has the time Thursday 9:30 a.m. please go out and be there for this veteran who's being laid to rest . if I didn't have to work I would certainly go. it just seems so sad that here's this man who served his country he's now died and nobody even claimed him. Thank you to the Memphis funeral home for providing this burial for this man and I'm sure many others.
