Mitchell Joe Bagwell left his earthly home to go to his heavenly home on January 4th 2019 in Artesia, NM. He was born on October 28th 1965 to Joe and Rose Bagwell in Hobbs, New Mexico. Mitch was a graduate of Lovington High School, Class of 1983.

Mitch was preceded in death by his parents Joe & Rose Bagwell of Comanche Texas, two sisters: Gail Rivera and Betty Jean Hay, and two brothers: Richard Wayne Bryant and Michael Dale Bagwell. He was survived by two beloved daughters and his beautiful granddaughter, all of Artesia, NM, a sister, and a brother, and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. He has also left behind a sister of Phoenix, AZ.

He was a talented mechanic and heavy machinery operator. He loved the outdoors and all it had to offer such as hunting and fishing. He had a true passion for ranching. His family likes to envision him sitting at the dining room table having a pot of coffee with all of the loved ones he had missed all of these years, free from pain and smiling that smile we will all miss so much.

Graveside services January 12th , 2019, at the Garden of Memories Cemetary between Comanche and De Leon, TX.
