Larry Ward Howell
September 20, 1937 - January 5, 2019

Larry Ward Howell was born in McClure, Ohio September 20, 1937. His parents were Ralph & Grace Ward; he was later adopted by Luther & Beatrice Howell of Bloomville, Ohio. He passed on January 5, 2019 after a five year brave battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jan Tuck Howell; his sons Ladd Luther (Christy) Howell of Scottsdale, AZ and Lindsay William (Julie) Howell of Cottonwood, AZ; granddaughters Austin Howell of Bend, OR, and Paige Howell of Scottsdale, AZ; grandson Jax Gorman of Chicago, IL; and great-grandson Kai Ugarte of Bend, OR; his sister-in-law Adrienne Howell of Tipp City, OH; and his sister Phoebe (Jay) Huddle of Napoleon, OH. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Albert Howell.

Larry was a sales representative in the field of Heating and Air Conditioning for the Don Starr Co. and the Bodine Motor Co. covering the western US territory, Alaska, and Canada, allowing him to travel, which he loved. He was an accomplished cook and loved to collect cookbooks. After retiring he played softball in the Prescott League.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but is free of pain as he dwells in heaven.

A memorial service with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Chapel of the Valley in Fain Park at 2215 5th Street in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Larry will be interred at the Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey, Arizona.
