She married George Newell Jensen on August 31, 1940 in Midway. They were later sealed on May 5, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Over her lifetime, she has contributed to the growth of boys into men, men into fathers and grandfathers, and men of integrity of mind and spirit. She held many positions in the church teaching, leading music, and scouting. She spent countless hours helping young men learn valuable skills as she donated her time. She received the Silver Beaver Award in Scouting.
Together, she and Newell served a mission to South Dakota with the Native Americans. She loved many years in the timber industry, where Newell worked the sawmill. She loved her garden and flowers, but her greatest love was her family and friends.
She passed away on Monday, May 21, 2007 at her home of natural causes. She resided at 187 West 400 South in Heber City, Utah at the time of her death.
She left to cherish her memory five sons: Bruce (Karen), LaMar (Marcyne), Darrel (Modena), Loren (Phyllis), and Lane (Debbie); fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters: Anna Konkol, Laura Keele, Vera Lee, and Julie (Renel) Janson.
