Amber Nicole Jones, age 24, of San Antonio passed away from pneumonia on December 22, 2018.

Amber was born in Wharton, Texas on December 10, 1994 to Kacey Clayton Jones and Teri Crystal Jones. She spent the first three years of her life with her parents and half-sister Rachel Morrow in Houston, TX. At the age of 3 she went to live with her Grandparents Clayton and Lucille Jones in Livingston, TX who later adopted her. The family lived there until the unfortunate passing of her Grandfather. She and her Granny then relocated to San Antonio, TX. In San Antonio Amber attended Northwood Elementary, Garner Middle School, MacArthur High School and graduated ACE Academy for Creative Education in 2014.

Amber swam with the Wave and Streamline Aquatics Swim Club before spending 3 years on the team at MacArthur High School. She loved swimming, being around her teammates and participating in swim meets.

Amber was incredibly creative and kind. She had a passion for painting, cooking, and baking.   Amber had a huge heart as well and an unmatched compassion for animals who needed rescued. Rita and Little Kitty, being two of those who became a part of the family. Amber was always thinking of others before herself and attempted to save any stray animals she encountered.

Amber will be remembered for her beautiful, loving soul and her enthusiasm for life. She had an unbelievable sense of humor and could make everyone around her smile. Amber always had a bright burning light within her that no one will ever forget because it will forever shine in our hearts. Amber will be missed dearly as she was someone that was taken away from us far too soon.
