Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Sue Spears will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Cypress Creek Church of Christ, Cypress Creek Community, with Brother Charles Seal officiating. Interment will follow in Butters Cemetery, Forest Hill, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Glenmora.
Mrs. Spears, 61, of Glenmora, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 7, 2019, in Glenmora, with her loving family by her side. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Polk.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of forty years, Dwight Spears, Sr., of Glenmora; three sons, Dwight Spears, Jr. and his wife, Kaley, of Glenmora, Bryan Spears and his wife, Caitlin, of Westlake and Clinton Spears and his wife, Sarah, of Pine Prairie; one daughter, Danielle Wolfe and her husband, Buck, of Forest Hill; her father, Donald Polk, Sr., of Glenmora; one brother, Richard Polk and his wife, Sissy, of Glenmora; five sisters, Dwanna Polk, of Westlake, Dorothy Bonnette, of Alexandria, Jessie Mealer, of Moss Bluff, Rebecca Scarbrough and her husband, Bobby, of Forest Hill and Rachel Polk, of Glenmora; eight grandchildren, Nathan Spears and his wife, Brittney, Justus Spears, Addisyn Spears, Payton Wolfe, Anna Wolfe, Ryan Spears, Madlynn Spears and Mia LaRussa; two great grandchildren, Oakley Spears and Bentleigh Spears; the Fuller family and the Lott family.
Friends may call at Cypress Creek Church of Christ, on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
