Funeral services for Alvin J. Stevenson, 77, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Athens. Burial will be in the Tulip Cemetery in Athens under the direction of the Pinelands Funeral Home in Minden.
Mr. Stevenson died Wednesday in Sulphur.
Survivors include his widow; a son, Alvin J. Stevenson, Jr. of Karnack, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. George C. Hall of Sulphur; and eight grandchildren.
