Canton – Geneva Trull Worley, 76, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Betty Pressley Trull. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lane Calvin Worley, who died in 2007; two sisters, Helen Terrell and Joyce Allen; two brothers-in-law, Melvin Allen and Buford Mease; and a sister-in-law, Lois Smith and her husband, Roy. Geneva was the oldest of eight children, worked at Dayco International and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She sold Tupperware and loved to quilt and sew. Geneva served as president of the North Hominy Community Center and worked with Manna Food Bank.

She is survived by a son, Calvin Worley (Melissa) of Canton; three sisters, Frances Mease and Clara McFalls (Dudley) all of Canton, and Betty Jo Ruff (Tim) of Waynesville; two brothers, Terry Trull (Juanita) of Waynesville and Gary Trull (Amelia) of Hendersonville; one grandchild, Megan Kirkpatrick (Drayton) of Waynesville; one great-grandchild, Braelon Worley; one sister-in-law, Lorene Edwards ( Charles) of Canton.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 5:45 prior to the service at the church.
