Wanda Lynn Wyatt, age 87, of South Knoxville, passed away on December 30, 2018. She was a graduate of Young High School, class of 1949 and attended business college. Wanda was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company after 40 years of service. Wanda was the daughter of the late Earl McCoy Ballard and Eddie Josephine Ballard; she was also preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Fred Wyatt; and brother, Wayne Ballard. She is survived by brother, Tom R. and Sue Ballard, of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Rose Mary Ballard, of Maryville; nieces and nephews, Bo and Laurie Ballard, of Greenback, Lisa Ballard Clark (John), of Chattanooga, Todd and Marie Ballard, of Knoxville, Scott and Merri Scott Ballard, of Clarksville and Pat Ballard, of Maryville and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, from 12:30 until 2:30. Procession following to Mt. Olive Cemetery.
