Claudia Esther Brown, age 86, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Houma, passed away Friday November 30, 2018.
A memorial service was held Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Community Funeral Home with burial in St. Francis #2 Cemetery. A mass will be held in her honor at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral.
She was survived by one son, Efrem J. Brown of Dallas, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence O. Sr. and Mable Lewis Brown; brother, Clarence O. Brown Jr.; and sister, Olive Brown Cooper.
Claudia was a retired teacher and a member of the Terrebonne Education Association.
