Laurie B. Scott, at the age of 57, of McSherrystown, PA; entered into God’s eternal care on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover, PA. She was the wife of George M. Scott to whom she was married 40 years.
Laurie was born July 2, 1961 in Hanover, PA; she was the daughter of the late Patricia E. (Wege) Good and Thomas L. Good and his wife Linda of Hanover, PA.
Laurie was a 1979 graduate of Hanover High School and worked as a phone sales representative, a manicurist, and part-time clerk at South Hills Golf Course snack bar.
Laurie previously participated in the Foster Parent Program. She enjoyed going to the beach, taking cruises and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband, father and step-mother is one son Alec Scott and wife Abbey of Lancaster, PA; one grandson Aslan Scott; a sister Kimberly Smith and husband Robert of Little River, SC.; and nephew Jarrod Smith of Durham, NC.
Service and burial will be held privately.
