Nellie Louise James, of Wooster died Monday January 7, 2019 at Life Care Hospice of Wooster.
She was born August 19, 1932 in Ashland Co. the daughter of Glenn W. and Lucinda E. Hagerman Funk. She was a hostess/cashier for Howard Johnson’s Restaurant. Nellie attended the Moreland Methodist Church. She was raised by her mother’s sister and husband, Bessie and Clarence Bower from the age of 16 months. She married Glenn James on July 15, 1950.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her foster parents, a great grandson, Peyton Clippinger, 8 brothers, Miles, Clarence, Lewis, Roy, Kenneth, Wilbur, Harold, and John Funk, and two sisters, Virginia Billheimer and Mary Chapman.
Services will be 1:00 PM Friday January 11, 2019 at Moreland United Methodist Church 138 Moreland Road Wooster, OH. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery.
