Ann “Annie” Whitelock Turner, of Rockford, Michigan, passed away peacefully after a long illness on January 6, 2019 at age 65. Ann graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in English. Her career included roofing sales upon graduating college to working as a pharmacy technician to being a customer service manager. Ann enjoyed being a maker in her spare time; cooking, sewing, embroidery, knitting, and gardening were just a few of her favorite creative expressions. Known for her infectious laugh, Ann’s sense of humor was always present, even in her final days. Above all, Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and friend. Family meant everything to her, which was evident in the way her face would light up when she spent time with her daughters and grandchildren. Her vibrant, beautiful spirit can never be replaced. Ann is survived by her mother; Peggy (John) N. Whitelock, daughters; Megan (Erik) E. Wolenberg, Peggy (Devin) E. Greene; grandchildren; Lochlan E. Wolenberg and Rowan E. Wolenberg. She is preceded in death by her father; John R. Whitelock.
