Jennie Mae Long, 85, Jacksonville, died Thursday in a local nursing home. The Jefferson County, Ala., native was a member of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church; and belonged to the TEL Sunday School class. Survivors include daughters, Ione M. Griffith and Sylvia E. Rowe; 1 sister, Mrs. Ernest Sapp; 1 brother, Terrell Scott; 6 grandchildren, Terry, Robby, Paul, Denise Rowe and Chuck and Dennis Griffith; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Dr. Harold F. Hunter officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. in Oakland Cemetery, Waycross, Ga. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the North Jacksonville Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
