Jacqueline L. Caldwell was called home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born on July 18, 1951 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the Wallace P. Lindsey, Sr and Mary L. Darton. She attended Solomon Coles and furthered her education at Hialco. She accepted Christ at an early age in Corpus Christi, Texas and had a Rebaptisation in Houston, Texas at the request of her eldest daughter, Valarie M. Brown before she went to Glory. Over the years she held several jobs which include, St. Joseph Hospital (Renal Lab), AppleTree Grocery (Deli-Manager), Thomas Healthcare (CMA) and DLJMM Financial Services (Office Manager) with daughter, Tracey Whitley. She leaves to cherish her lasting memories her three daughters: Valarie M. Brown (the Late Timothy Brown) Houston, Texas, Tracey (Andre) Whitley of Richmond, Texas, and Aundreia (Everitt) Robinson of Richmond, Texas; her brother, Chaune F. Darton of Corpus Christi, Texas; her nieces and nephews, Kevin Pullam, Shana Lindsey, Anissia Pullam, Charles Pullam Jr, Rachaune Darton, Adrain Darton, Jarron Darton; 19 grandchildren, Eris Henderson, Jeremy Hess, Mason Brown, Landon Brown, Logan Stewart, Reagan Stewart, Evrin Robinson, Shaun Robinson, Austin Whitley, Kobi Whitley, Dylan Whitley, Taylor Brown, Maryisal Singleton, Meaghan Lemons, Lauryn White, Monique Burks, Jessica Baker, Kamisha (Chris) Goss, Jahanna Robinson, Ezandreia Robinson and 9 Great Grandchildren: Kennedy Singleton, Kyleigh Singleton, Eris Henderson Jr, Armanie Hess, Ayanna Hess, Jeremy Hess Jr, Krysiah Goss, Krysten Goss, Vicaria Goss, and her God Grandson, Marease Singleton; also her cousins, Tansha Hines, Shyieka Hines, Esphelle Hines, DaNette Lindsey, Patrice Lindsey, April Lindsey, Knocka Lindsey, Cordera Lindsey, Kanika Lindsey, Luther Lindsey Jr, and James (Yvonne) Harold. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Caldwell of Williamson County, Texas; her parents, Wallace P. Lindsey of Tyler, Texas and Mary L. Darton of Victoria, Texas; her brother, Wallace P. Lindsey, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas and her sisters, Gwenda Pullam of Corpus Christi, Texas and Beverly S. Lindsey of Houston, Texas; her aunt and uncle Nettie L. Hines Corpus Christi, Texas and Ike Darton of Victoria TX.

“JACKIE” gave so much love and was loved by many people that she met over the years, including her special friend, Mr. Frank Bryant. She enjoyed shopping (Burlingtons) and caring for Seniors at assisted living facilities. She was also featured in the bulletin at Christus Spohn Hospital to promote Health and Wellness for Seniors. The LOVE for her FAMILY was endless , but her LOVED for her GRANDCHILDREN was what defined her.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Memory Garden Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
