Cindy Sue Cox, 62, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister, of Arlington, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, surrounded by her family after a brief struggle with N.A.S.H. Disease at CHI Lakeside Health Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the Arcadia United Methodist Church in Arcadia, Nebraska. Reverend Dr. Jeff D. Hale will officiate. Burial will be in the Lee Park Cemetery west of Arcadia. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Family. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Cindy was born on March 13, 1956, in New Bedford, Massachusetts. She was adopted by Edward R and Freda F (Hunt) John of Central City, Nebraska where she grew up and later graduated from Central City High School in 1976.

Cindy attended Bonner School of Hair Design and graduated in 1978. She worked several years in elementary and high schools in addition to working in accounting.

Cindy enjoyed reading, watching movies, playing cards and spending time with her grandkids.

She will be missed and will always remain in our hearts……

Survivors include son, Matthew Edward Koch and his wife, Deborah; grandsons, Andrew and Alexander Koch all of Bennington, Nebraska; a daughter, Jessica Mae (Koch) Kisela and Seth Schaefer; granddaughter, McKenna Mae Kisela; grandsons, Cayn Richards Schaefer, Jace Levon Schaefer, and Hays Haggard Schaefer, all of Garland, Nebraska; a son, Logan Eugene Cox of Johnstone, Colorado; brother and sister-in-law, Randy L. and Shary John; nephews, Ryan John and Cody John; and nieces, Lauren (John) Rose, and Meaghan John all of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
