T. W. Meech
Funeral rites for Thomas W. Meech, 65, of Oakland, Calif., will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. in Ingmire & Nagle Funeral Chapel, Chestnut Street. Burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park. Mr. Meech was stricken with pneumonia a few days after he arrived here to visit relatives. He died yesterday (Feb. 28, 1944) in Strong Memorial Hospital.
Formerly employed by the Rochester Gas & Electric Corporation, Mr. Meech left the city 40 years ago and has been living since in Oakland.
He was a master electrician, member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; the Masons and was past master of the Masonic lodge in Oakland.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elliott Gelsinger of Rochester and Mrs. Leah Mason of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Orna Stone of Rochester; two brothers, Raymond F. Meech of Rochester and Henry Meech of Ithaca; two grandchildren, Miss Ruth June Geisinger and Pvt. Elwood Geisinger, and several nephews and nieces.
