Janice Gentry Farmer, age 65, of Stoneville, NC passed away early Sunday January 6, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday January 10th, 11:00 am at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Janice was born November 30, 1953 in Reidsville, NC to McKinley Coolidge and Janie Payne Gentry, and retired from the Rockingham County School System as Head Custodian.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Leon Farmer of the home; two sons Steven Farmer(Meghan) of Ruffin, NC, Kevin Farmer(Deedra) of Sandy Ridge, NC; Step-son David Farmer(Margaret) of Rockingham, NC; Grandson Evan Purnell and special friends Denise Vaden, Robert and Cheryl Keck and Ken Dowdle.
