Patricia Annette (Millican) Whitfield was born on May 27, 1941 in Skene, Mississippi. She was the 4th child born to Andrew and Sarah Millican. She joined her parents, brothers, Jimmy, Troy, and loving husband of 53 years, Billy Whitfield in the morning hours of January 3, 2019. Pat was an Elementary School Educator in Manatee County for over 30 years and she spent 27 wonderful years teaching at Anna Maria Elementary School. Pat retired from the Manatee County Public School System in 2004. She leaves behind her three children, daughter, Ellen Darrice (Vic) Hoffman; son, William James ‘’Bill’’ (Kapi) Whitfield and son, Jerald Andrew ‘’Jerry’’ (Stacey) Whitfield. She has six grandchildren, Wyatt and Dayle Hoffman, Chasten and Caden Whitfield and Sidney and Isabelle Whitfield. Pat’s surviving siblings are Cille McCool, Jean Millen and Peggy Sullivan along with many nieces and nephews who live out of state. A Graveside Services will be 11:00AM Friday, January 11, 2019 at Fogartyville Cemetery, 4200 3rd Avenue Northwest Bradenton, FL.
