Karen McClung Kilgore of Bremen passed away peacefully from complications of lung cancer, Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Bremen, November 18, 1943, daughter of the late William Byron McClung and Virginia Gray McClung. Karen was a member of the Bremen First United Methodist Church and was retired from RKR Construction, where she was the Controller and Office Manager.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Winfred Kilgore and a sister, Betty McClung.
Survivors include her children, Angela Awalt of Bremen, Charles Naile of Carrollton; grandchildren, Matthew Awalt of South Korea, Virginia and Billy Pollard of Bremen and great grandchildren, Carter Pollard and Cooper Pollard of Bremen.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM.
Services will be Friday, January 11 at 2:00 PM from the Bremen First United Methodist Church with Reverend Gerald Varner and Barry Williams officiating.
