William L. “Bill” Beck, 83, of Turpin, OK. passed away at his home on Friday, January 4, 2019.

He was born on March 6, 1935 to John and Viola (Kolb) Beck at Liberal, KS.

In 1958 he married Karen Starlin at Liberal, KS; she preceded him in death on April 13, 2018

Bill grew up in Liberal, Kansas and was graduate of Liberal High School. He served in the US Air Force, stationed in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Bill was a life long truck driver and had trucked for many different companies including Nash Finch, Groendyke, the city of Liberal, and Cathodic Protection Services from which he retired from. He enjoyed Boxing, Camping, and Waterskiing with his family at Wolf Creek State Park in Perryton, TX. He was a former Boxing Coach with the Liberal Boxing Club.

Bill is also survived by his son – Billy Beck of Turpin, OK; daughter – Lisa Fulmer and husband Tim of Paris, AR; the grandsons – Brian, Michael and James Fulmer.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and daughter-Penny Gail Beck.

There will be no public viewing.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the Miller Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Rex Petty, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Dudley Township Cemetery near Satanta, KS.
