Samuel Douglas "Sammy" Reeves, 57, of Soddy-Daisy, died September 5, 2007.

He was predeceased by his parents, Claud and Bertha Daniel Reeves, sister, Ora Dean Ridgeway and two brothers, Clayborn and Rayburn Reeves.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Delores Carden Reeves; son, Allen Reeves all of Soddy-Daisy; two daughters, Kim Hartman and Samantha Hartman, both of Dayton; step-son, Christopher (Janna) Aslinger, Hixson; brother, Danny (Betty) Reeves, Dayton; five sisters, Marie Fleming, Florence, Al., Carol Suttles, Loretta (Phillip) Potter, both of Dayton, Joyce (Jack) Johnson, Hixson and Anita (Danny) Turner, Harrison; seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friend, E. C. Bull.

Rev. Steve Moore will conduct the service on Saturday at 2 p.m. in New South Daisy Baptist Church.

Visitation will be in the church on Friday from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-2 p.m.

Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to New South Daisy Baptist Church, 9129 Old Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379
