Jaurigue 20, of Texas City, Texas; was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; died May 26 in Samarra, Iraq, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Also killed were Sgt. Clayton G. Dunn II and Cpl. Gregory N. Millard. His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart Metal, Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman's Badge, and the Parachutist Badge. He was 20.
