Born in Decatur in October 1923, Mr. Jones passed away on November 16, 2018. A World War II veteran, Mr. Jones was an employee at Chemstrand, later Monsanto Corporation, a member of First Christian Church, and a local Civil War historian.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth, and daughters, Cynthia Jones (Gordon Ellis) and Theresa Jones (Scott Marshall).
