Jane Ellen Robinson, 72, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington.
She was born November 14, 1946 in Martinsville to the late Charles and the late Goldie Achor Shaper. She married her husband of 53 years, Roger Robinson, on her birthday November 14, 1965.
Jane, a 1964 graduate of Simon Kenton High School, loved her flowers, hummingbirds, and Christmas reindeer.
Survivors include her husband, Roger; daughters, Lori Yinger of Hillsboro, and Patti Garland of Wilmington; sons, Terry Robinson and Roger Robinson Jr. both of Hillsboro; sister, Mary Brewer of Cincinnati; twin brother, Jim (Diane) Shaper of New Vienna; five grandchildren; sixgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by half-brothers, Frank and Johnny.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 9 at the L. Eugene Smith & Son Funeral Home, 64 S. South St., New Vienna. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 9 at the L. Eugene Smith & Son Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
