Anna Kay Bell was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019. She was 66 years old. Anna was born Aug. 26, 1952, in Washington, Ga., to Willa Mae and Allen Gresham.

She soon after moved to Terre Haute, Ind., as an infant. Anna attended Booker T. Washington Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Middle School and Wiley High School, and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She worked production line at Columbia House Records for 10 years, as a nurse's aide at the Vigo County Home and Royal Oaks for 25 years, and later worked part time as a transportation monitor at Head Start for three years. Anna met her loving husband and best friend, Clarence Edward Bell Sr., when she was 16 years old. During their 39 years of marriage they had six children, five boys and one girl. They were both members of Greater Victory Temple Church with Pastor Tino Smith. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and had a personality and smile that would light up a room. Anna was always the first one to start dancing at any family functions and was never afraid to crack a joke. She loved sitting on the porch with her dog, Max, doing her crossword puzzles and drinking a cup of coffee. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone she met, she never knew a stranger and she always made you feel right at home.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Edward Bell Sr., her mother Willa Mae Gresham Rice, her brother Donald Gresham, her father Allen Gresham and stepfather Eugene Rice.
