Connie Zene Gilbert, 68, of Rock, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, VA.
Born on December 24, 1950 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Marie Ball Sexton. She had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Kenny Hazelwood, Dennis Hanshaw, Jr., Andrew Shrader, Johnny Tooley, David Copley, and Michael Gilbert serving as pallbearers.
