Mr. Rainey dedicated his time in shaping the future of Gaston County School Hunter Huss, for nearly fifteen years. A wholesome dedicated family man and will be greatly miss.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Mrs. Daisy A. Rainey of Gastonia, NC; two sons: Willie Hardin of High Point, NC, and George Rainey of Augusta, GA; two daughters; Juanita Rabanes of Hawaiian Gardens, CA, and Joyce Rainey of Gastonia, NC; seventeen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Funeral: Tuesday; January 8, 2019; 2:00 p.m.; Gregory Funeral Service Chapel-601 N. York Street, Gastonia
Visitation: one hour before the service at the chapel
Interment: Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia
