Grant served his country in the United States Army. He was a barber for Capitol City Barbershop for 55 years and was a member of the Elks Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son, Brian (wife, Annette) Fowler of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Christina Renee Fowler; two grandchildren, Brilyn Fowler and Graham Noltkamper; and one sibling, Norma Boyles.
Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.
Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, Springfield.
Private Graveside Ceremony will be held at a later date.
Interment January 15, 2019.
