"Services for Mrs. Arrah Hargus Culver of Monroe will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, Sterlington Road in Monroe with Dr. Winton Mizell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Culver died Wednesday in El Dorado, Ark., after a long illness. She was a native of New Edinburg, Ark., and resided in Monroe for more than 50 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Monroe, a past Grand Matron of the Grand Chapter of Louisiana, Order of the Eastern Star and a life member of Louise L. McGuire No. 4 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a charter member of the Social Order of the Beauceant and was a retired employee of Ouachita National Bank. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. F.W. Miles of El Dorado; and two brothers, John D. Hargus of Monroe and Grover C. Hargus of San Diego, Calif. Pallbearers will be George Hargus, Stanley Hargus, Freemon Miles, David Hargus, Jim Hargus and Jack McPhail. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home chapel."
