Debra Cole Belk, 66, of Rockwell, died August 20, 2017, at her home of cancer. Born on July 23, 1951, in Ohio County, West Virginia to Lois Jones Platt “Mimi” and the late John George Platt.
Debra retired from the Salisbury Police Department and Rowan County Clerks Office with 30 years service.
Debi was preceded in death by her father, John Platt. She is survived by her mother, Lois Jones Platt “Mimi”, her children, Audra Cole Perry and husband Brad of Faith, Erin Cole Pastushok and husband Steve Snodgrass of Charlotte, and son, Matthew David Belk and fiancee Ashley DeFeo of Gold Hill, grandchildren Cole and Carleigh Perry and Peyton Pastushok, sisters Susan Gagich and Joei Platt, brother Greg Platt, as well as several nieces and nephews.
