Corinne Sparks Waldon, 67, of Lafayette, died at 5:37 a.m. October 28, 2002, at the Indiana Veterans Home. Born November 13, 1934 to the late Taylor Sparks and Lela Johnson. Ms. Waldon worked at the Indiana Veterans Home for 8 years before becoming disabled. She married Oscar Donald Waldon on October 30, 1951, in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Mr. Waldon preceded her in death on May 12, 1991. Surviving are 3 daughters, Pamela Klontz (husband, Dave) Sharon Greenup (husband, Bob) Belinda Cudworth, all of Lafayette. 4 sons, Vernon Waldon (wife, Bonnie) James Waldon, G. Wayne Waldon and Bruce Waldon, all of Lafayette. Also surviving 3 sisters, Alice Wright, Beatrice Sparks, both of Crawfordsville. Peggy Brashears of Ramsey, Indiana. She is preceded in death by 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Interment Rest Haven Memorial Park.
