Linda was born to Albert and Eileen (Collamore) Hummel. She grew up in Sac City where she attended school. As a young girl, Linda enjoyed photography and helping her mom to raise her siblings.

Linda married Kieth Cunningham in April of 1967 in Omaha, Nebraska and they were blessed with three children: Kenneth, Kevin and Karie. Linda and Kieth have raised their family in Omaha.

Linda worked as a Title Clerk, Cook and lunch lady. She enjoyed going to the old poor farm, painting, cooking, crafts and reading. Linda loved spoiling her grandkids and all children and tending to her plants and flowers. She was a kind, lovable, independent woman with a beautiful soul. Linda was a very strong woman with “protector” instincts and everyone was always welcome in Linda’s home. She enjoyed Hallmark movies and country music. She savored beef tips and noodles, a cold pepsi and lunch out at Keno in Fremont. Two things would get under her skin, Kieth and dirty dishes. She would often be heard saying “Talk to you later” "Rub some dirt on it and get back to work" and “This too shall pass” .
