She is survived by her husband Walter Echols of Charlotte, her daughter and spouse, Renee and Harold Riordan, son and spouse, Jeff and Julie O'Bryan, as well as four grandchildren, Amanda and Patrick Riordan and Kyle and Katie O'Bryan. Also surviving are her sister and brother, Cheryl Cranford and Larry Smith.
