Lisa Kay Green, age 56 of Brooker, FL, passed away peacefully in her sleep over the new year holidays. She was born August 30, 1962 in Gainesville. FL. She was the daughter of Willard Ray “Sonny” and Judith Brenda Stokes Hunter.
She graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1980. She enjoyed working in her yard and taking care of her flowers and her animals, she had a great love of wildlife. She loved her family, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sonny Hunter and her brother, Gary Hunter.
She is survived by her fiancé, Keith “Red” Starling; her mother, Judy Hunter; her children, Clayton Andrew “Bubba” Green, Sunny Lea Buzbee and Robert Eugene Green; her siblings, Robbie Hunter, Dale Hunter, Deana Kaye Deasey, Gerry Hunter and Brenda Hardee; grandchildren, Michael Green, Abby and Owen Buzbee, Wyatt Hunter Winfield Green and Maddison Green.
Services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams-Thomas Westarea chapel, 823 NW 143rd Street. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 3612 NW 177 Ave, Gainesville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
