Mike passed away December 31, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 72. He was born March 17, 1946, in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Norman and Marbrey Howard. He married Colleen Byrd on October 5, 1979, in Houston, Texas, and worked in oil field inspection management. Mike lived in Mountain Home since moving from Houston, Texas, in 2004. He was a member of the Retreads Motorcycle Group and was an avid motorcyclist. In his younger years, he was a pilot and loved to fly.
Mike is survived by his wife, Colleen Howard of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Laura (Mark) Bryant of Celina, TX; son, Darin (Megan) Howard of Houston, TX; step-daughter, Debbie Worthington of Oklahoma City, OK; eight grandchildren, Chris and Ryan Davison, Katelyn Bryant, Cami (Spencer) Weber, and Caylie, Colton, Shayne, and Skyler Howard; niece, Julie (Michael) Gray; and sister-in-law, Claudette (Steve) Colwell of Lago Vista, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William "Bill" Howard; and grandson, Justin Davison.
