Charles died at his residence on a Tuesday morning. He was the son of Sherman Hamm and Flora Isom Hamm. After a 50 year career he retired as a quarry worker. Also he was a farmer. He was a member of the Richland Church of Christ.
He was survived by eight sons and five daughters. 41 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren at that time.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Velma (Hendricks) Hamm. They were married April 14, 1919 and raised the "Lucky Thirteen" children.
Until the trumpet sounds, Charles and Velma are at rest,side by side.

2. Juanita Hamm Pless (1920 - 2000)
3. Charles Hamm, Jr (1926 - 2004)
4. Hazel Louise Hamm Edwards (1921 - 2006)

6. Harold E. Hamm (1930-2011)
