Katherine “Peggy” Bennett died at her home in Willcox on May 15, 2018, at the age of 86. She was born in Denver on April 15, 1932, to Joseph and Helen (Wickens) Ashcroft.

Peggy served in the United States Navy as a medical and dental assistant.

She was a loving homemaker, and loved her grandkids, nieces and nephews. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include: her sons, Shim (Julie) and Kim (Sharon), both of Willcox, Rex (Linda), of Camp Verde, and Dale (Amanda), of Willcox; her daughter, Anne Bennett, of Willcox; her 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Pat Ashcroft and Joe Ashcroft; and her sisters, Mary Baker and Alice.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert L. Bennett.

A rosary will be offered at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Westlawn Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment of her cremains will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
