Bill Cox, age 79 passed away at Hazel Findlay Country Manor on Friday, December 28, 2018. Bill was born on June 22, 1939 in Ovid, MI the son of William T. and Genevieve (West) Cox. He graduated from Rodney B. Wilson in St. Johns and worked at General Motors for over 30 years. On May 26, 2004 he married Janet Carroll in St. Johns. Bill loved reading about history, puttering in the garage, gardening, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Janet, son Jeff (Cheryl) Cox of Manistique, MI, daughters Jane (Larry) Zieff of Flower Mound, Texas, and Lisa Cox of Lansing. Grandchildren, Tyler and Megan Cox and Alec Zieff. Nieces Becky Faoro of Muskegon and Debra Most of St. Johns. Brother John (Barb) Cox of St. Johns and special friend, Eric Most of St. Johns.
