Inez Antu, 80, died Thursday at 8:43 p.m. in Val Verde Memorial Hospital. Rites will be held today at 5 p.m. in the Evangelistic Church on North Main Street with burial in San Felipe Cemetery under the direction of the Humphreys-Doran Funeral Home.
Mrs. Antu was born April 20, 1904, in Mexico.
Survivors include her sons, Jesus Avila of Dallas, Mauricio Avila and Gilberto Avila of Del Rio, Julian Avila of Ciudad Acuna, Coah., Mexico; daughters, Rosa Guzman of Lubbock and Evalicia Streeter of Azle, Texas; sisters C. Lemencia Antu of Del Rio and Orcicilia Duran of Ciudad Acuna; brothers, Domingo Antu and Gerardo Antu of Acuna, 35 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
