He was born to Mildred and Michael Kennedy in Oak Park, Illinois on March 7, 1933, and was the beloved older brother of his sister, Colleen (Kennedy) Hellman.
He received his B.A. from PLU and became an accomplished attorney, having earned his J.D. from UCLA Law School and LL.M in taxation from NYU Law School. He retired from a 27-year career with Seattle-First National Bank in 1993. In more recent years, he recorded books on tape for the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library.
He was a personable, good-natured man who valued excellence and lived out his love for music and literature as a devoted patron of the theatre and library.
He is survived by three nephews and two nieces who loved him and are thankful he now sleeps in heavenly peace before the Living God.
