Hazel was born in Illinois in 1904. Moved with her parents Henry & Emma Pray to Minnesota where her youngest sister Dorothy is born . The family eventually moved to Iowa. Hazel met and married Clair Monroe McVey and had one daughter Marilyn and a son James who passed within his first year of life. Hazel passed away from cancer in 1948.
