Dan was predeceased by his wife, Doris (Trinidad) Seip. His memory will be cherished by his four children: Daniel T. (Kathryn) Seip, III of DeWitt, MI; Deirdre (Steven) Dibble of Summit; Dawn (Timothy) Dinovo of Scottsdale, AZ; and Charles (Ashley) Seip of Williamstown, VT; as well as nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Born February 13, 1939, in East Meadow, he was the son of Daniel T. and Lenora (Gradowski) Seip, Sr.
Dan was a United States Navy veteran, proudly serving his country from 1958 until 1963 when he was honorably discharged.
Dan retired from Albany Medical Center where he was Fire Marshall.
He and Doris relocated to Florida in 2001 where they enjoyed an active retirement.
After Doris passed in 2015 Dan moved back to this area to be near his family.
He was an avid numismatist and enjoyed sharing his knowledge and passion for rare coins with everyone.
