Born Sunday, February 21, 1960 in Fayetteville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Bobby Carroll Jones and Margaret Wales Benefield. He lived most of his life in the Decatur area and loved Alabama basketball and football, and country music. He was a member of the Special Opympics Swim Team. He was preceded in death by his father: Bobby Carroll Jones, grandparents: Henry & Dorothy Wales, Willie Jones, Sr and Delaney, and nephew: Zachary Jeffreys and wife Amie.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Rev.Emilio Sanchez officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
