PJeanette Wilson, age 94, of Wauseon, passed away Thursday morning, January 3, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born in Sherwood, OH on October 8, 1924 to the late Ernest Sudholtz and Julie (Miller) Sudholtz. After graduating from Defiance High School in 1942 she married Lawrence Wilson and he preceded her in death in 1985. Jeanette worked for Mustang Printing in Wauseon for over eighteen years and also as a wonderful homemaker to her husband and children. One of her fondest hobbies was weaving rugs and enjoying various forms of music. Jeanette was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Wauseon; where she served as a Sunday school teacher. Jeanette also was a teacher’s aide at Pike School in Delta. She is survived by her children, Larry (Sue) Wilson of Wauseon, Gary (Pam) Wilson of Swanton, Amy Abbott of Wauseon, Craig (Mary) Wilson of Napoleon, Jan (Nevie) Wilson of Wauseon and Scot Wilson of Wauseon; sister, Rachel Troeger of Ayersville; son-in-law, John McKeever; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Along with her husband, Lawrence, Jeanette was preceded in death by her daughters, Julie McKeever in 2006 and Jill Hale in 2017; brother, Herbert Sudholtz; sister, Justina Boesling; granddaughter, Lori Abbott and son-in-law, Jeff Hale. Friends will be received from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta. A funeral service celebrating her life will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 841 N. Shoop Ave., Wauseon, Ohio 43567 with Pastor Steven R. Geske officiating. Interment will follow at Winameg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to Hands of Grace, 104 Monroe St., Delta, Ohio 43515 or Emmaus Lutheran Church in her memory.
