Sadie Calihan Wells, 78, of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. She was born February 3, 1940 in Whitesburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Coolie and Versie (Lewis) Calihan. She worked at Anchor Glass, retiring after 30 years of service. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and especially her loyal companion JoJo. She could always put a smile on your face and was always willing to help others in need. She loved the Lord. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crafting and drawing.
Survivors include her two daughters: Kimberly (Charlie) Kostas of Lawrenceburg, IN and Shelly O'Brien of Aurora, IN; two brothers, Joe (Lois) Calihan of Connersville, IN and Odell (Wanda) Calihan of Connersville, IN; sister, Brenda (Gary) Ross of Cedar Grove, IN; her companion JoJo; ten grandchildren: Anthony (Jessie) Good, Tiffany Wright, Katie (Jason) Rogers, Brandon (Amanda) Wells, Zane (Kristina) Ashcraft, TJ Ashcraft, James T O'Brien, Brett Wells, Bryanna Wells, Gavin O'Brien; many nieces, nephews and her friends at Dillsboro Manor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coolie and Versie Calihan; two sons, Darrin Webster, and Ronnie Wells; daughter, Tanya Good; and her grandson, Matthew Good.
