She was born July 20, 1949, daughter of the late William and Caroline Wallace Jenkins.  Beverly was a graduate to Moton High School and attended Univ. of MD Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, MD. 

After attending school, she joined the work force employed with Waverly Press for 20 years, Easton Memorial Hospital for 16 years and Talbot County Board of Education for 12 years. Her most recent employment was with Genesis Healthcare, House in the Pines. 

Beverly joined St. Paul Methodist Church as a young adult and learned spiritual and religious teachings under the tutelage of Mr.  & Mrs. Thomas Woods and various ministers.

Her hobbies include shopping, traveling and enjoying her family and friends.

Her memory shall be cherished by her husband of 23 years, Reginald V. Barnett; two sisters, Norma Holland and Janet Diggs (Dunkin); a brother, William Michael Jenkins (Sharon); stepchildren, Robert and Nareen Scott & family, Nakema Ayers & Family;  brothers and sisters in-law, James and Carolyn Green, Janet Goldsborough, Carl and Yvonne Barnett, Irvin and Pat Barnett, Melvin & Mildred Green, Valary Barnett and Alfreda Barnett; two nieces, Lani Wallace and Khori Wallace; a nephew, Corey Wallace (Janeka); aunt, Frances Barber; father in-law, George Barnett and a large extended host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, classmates and co-workers.
