Angelica H. Perez, 52, of Corpus Christi, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, September 11, 2003 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother. More than half her life she spent as a dedicated teacher at Central Christian Church, Grant Middle School and King High School. She treated and loved her students like her own children. All who loved her and the lives she touched will dearly miss her. She was preceded in death by her first born son, Antonio Perez III, (1977), her father, Amado Hinojosa (1974). She is survived by her loving husband, Mr. Antonio G. Perez, her children, Juan Antonio "Tony" , Rogelio and Amanda Perez all of Corpus Christi, her mother, Mrs. Maria T. Hinojosa, her sisters, Angie (Ruben) Hernandez, Rose Hinojosa, Gloria Lacy, her brother, Amado (Lydia) Hinojosa, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2003 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home, Holly Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 15, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Juan Antonio "Tony" Perez, Rogelio Perez, Ernesto Ramos, Amado Hinojosa, Jr., Matthew Hinojosa and Lawrence Lacy. Honorary pallbearers will be Rocky Delano and Larry Lacy.
